Programmed are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Storeperson to join our Client’s Oilseed Processing Facility.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Storeperson to join our Client’s Oilseed Processing Facility. This is a hands on role supporting the efficient operation of the site through inventory management, material handling, forklift operation, and general plant support activities. The successful candidate will be safety-focused, eager to learn, comfortable using IT systems, and willing to contribute across a variety of operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and store incoming goods and materials
• Pick, pack and issue parts, consumables and inventory items
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate inventory records using site IT systems
• Conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliations
• Complete routine greasing and lubrication runs across the facility
• Assist with plant maintenance support activities as required
• Support the unloading of bulk chemical deliveries into the plant by opening and closing valves in accordance with site procedures
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe store and work environment
• Comply with all site safety, quality and environmental requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current Forklift Licence (LF) – essential
• Previous experience in a Storeperson, Warehouse or Industrial Operations role
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Good computer and IT system skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Physical fitness to undertake manual handling activities
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks

Highly Regarded

• Experience in a manufacturing, processing, agricultural or industrial environment
• Experience using inventory management
• Mechanical aptitude or maintenance support experience
